In the last hospital room scene .. what was Diro's last words to Shane before they parted ways? The first time I watched it sounded like she said "Your sentiment will destroy you." Which would fit because of his bad decisions and then his conscience eating him every time. Diro also sees this as his weakness.
BUT
When I watched it the 2nd time I had the captions on. It was displayed as her saying "You sent the men that will destroy you." Meaning Shane is playing both sides and told Rezian where to find Diro but they will ultimately kill Shane. I know sometimes the captions can be wrong so I'm wondering if anyone has the transcript because I really want to know what was said in that scene.

I had a hard time hearing her as well. I watched the final scenes again with louder volume and still didn't have much luck.
I'm positive she used the word 'destroy.'
-----------------
Shane said he was sorry. I assume that meant for making her rush her father's demise. Then she says those final words and I thought it was a partial apology, perhaps a justification of his actions. I thought she said "I sent men to destroy you." (Meaning, hey I went after you, whatever you're doing to me is a result of that)
But I have no idea if that's what she actually said.

I thought she said "The men you sent will kill [destroy, whatever] you."
I taped the ep this week, though, so I'll watch it again.

Franka Potente is a German actress faking a Armenian accent so it might be difficult to get real answers by listening again.

That's her Armenian accent?
It sounds a lot like her German accent, IMO.

I have a hard time hearing EVERYTHING that she says. Every time that she is on the screen I am reaching for the remote to pump the volume up because I just cannot hear her for some reason...
Everything else in the show comes out clear, but she speaks and it's gibberish...

The first time I watched it sounded like she said "Your sentiment will destroy you."That's what I heard the first time and that's what I hear listening to it again. Considering he just apologized (" Look, I'm sorry"), it makes sense. He does let his emotions control him - look how far it got him in with the Armenians in the first place! If he wasn't pissed at Vic for trying to ruin his "contact" (Diro), he wouldn't have mentioned the Money Train robbery. Then there wouldn't be a hit out on Vic, his family and on Ronnie, and Shane wouldn't have hooked up with the other guy, basically becoming his bitch (a MUCH worse version of Antwon, in my opinion). I actually think it's a great line. If it is " You sent the men that will destroy you" then it's not nearly as appropriate as the "sentiment" one.

It is "your sentiment will destroy you." As far as the captioning, it is so bad it is laughable--worst I've ever seen, and not just this week.

The reason I made this thread was to confirm if it was "sentiment" If so, then it Indeed was a great line and should be listed in the Best Line thread. And it's always good to confirm! But you got me worried that the quote wasn't what I thought/hoped it was Some of these deliveries aren't as easy to understand as they should be. And I'm sure chem will include that in the Best Line poll -- right chem? He's working hard on the list as we speak... er, write!

Listened again last night and I concur with you guys. It's definitely Your sentiment will destroy you.
Great stuff, I just wish it would have been a little more intelligible.

I had a problem understanding her in the 9th episode, when Shane tells her about the money train. What did she say? I sounded like, "Will I have to deal with him too?"

Subtitles are made by people listening, not given by the people who wrote the script, so they're about as reliable as any random stranger would be.
I agree it's the sentiment line. It's really an amazing line and so perfect for the scene and one of the reasons I really loved this last episode. It's so true, too. He could have let Diro take out Vic and Ronnie but he still cared too much. Now, his desire to protect them will likely end up getting him killed.

Probably the best line of 6x10. "Your sentiment will destroy you."
What a travesty, the captioning screwing up a great line like that.
