The way I see Season 6 (as FX is now officially calling it) ending is:
Vic and Ronnie discover Shane killed Lem. Last scene of the season: Vic pulls a gun on Shane. Screen goes black. We hear a gunshot.
A grand old cliffhanger!
It would be a killer waiting 8 months though, even more so than now.

I wish FX would order at least three more episodes so that we could have 13 episodes instead of 10...

They won't, because they're cheap bastards. They're screwing everyone who loves it. The suits don't give a f*ck about us, the writers, cast, or crew. I'm still pissed off about the whole Season 5 Contracts bullshit....

{1} I want Lem to still be alive... {2} I hope they will have some flash back scenes of him... {3} I hope the start next season with Lem's funeral. {4} It would be so cool if Tavon comes back with total memory of what happened to him. {5} And I hope Dutch solve Lem's death

lemgirl-
1-I hope not, I wouldn't like that. 2-I hope so 3-I hope so 4-I think it has been confirmed that Tavon will not be comming back. I would still really like to see him even if it was just crossing paths with the ST on a casee. 5-Dutch can't solve it. That would mean Shane would be going to prison. Vic must figure it out so he can wack Shane.

Another idea. I don't know if this would be the right place to put it, but since it does pertain to S5-B, and more specifacly the season premiere I'll stick it here.
I would like to see the season premiere in November or December, but with a good cliffhanger that we would still half to wait 5-6 weeks untill the season starts fully to see what happens. I don't much care for cliffhangers but usually when you get one you end up halfing to wait 6-9 months to see what happens, but I think it would be interesting to get one and still only half to wait a few weeks to see it resolved.

I would like to see
-Monica back at least for an episode or two (Kavanaugh questions her? Won't happen but still, would be awesome)
-Vic kick ass in the 1st ep. like he did when he turned over little Armenia in Season 3
-Claudette get rid of the fro'
-Claudette, understanding how Vic feels, agree to turn the Strike Team (what's left of it) loose on Farmington.

I fourth that! BUT... I want to see him actually doing it. I happen to think Jay is a sexy guy--tall, lean and graceful--and having seen him in person, I wanna see more! Maybe something like making love instead of the aggressive, sadistic and violent sex we've seen so far.

ok,during the 5 previous seasons vic was close enough to shoot shane 2 times.first, last episode of 3rd season and the other one in season 4.from that point of view i think its obvious vic wont hesitate to pull the trigger next time.the motive could nt have been stronger than lems death.so go with it vic!shoot the bastard and pay tribute to lem, then we ll be fully paid too. the other thing we need to question is vic s forced retirement issue that came up somewhere in the 5th season.i think that vic should be retiring within 3 or 6 months to follow im not sure.so in season 6 vic is still a cop on duty or...who knows what? then its the kavanough case, how it will be cleared within 2 episodes?im curious to see how the kav&vic conflict will evolve. then season 5.2 should give all the requiring attention to ronnie who lacked of protagonism since the tme beeing. i also wonder if there will be a new entrance in the strike team.dont worry kenny noone s worthier than you. but you left a huge empty place to refill somehow. dutch with the support of captain claudette should dig further and further investigating the priority 1 case that is lems killing and discovering a little by little the secrets of the strike team and vic struggling to keep them safe. and how surprisingly romantic would it be if its a lem jr. the new born dannys baby rather than a vics kid as mostly quoted?on dannys- who s- the -dad -bet board ,lems name has 5 votes.id love that,it could be a real big emotional concept in the series. thats my little guess.what do you think?

Vic is going out of the show the way he came in... a cocky bad ass shit kicker - dead or alive. The big dilemma I see is how he has groomed Shane. Shane IS like a son to him.
Shane is like a wild dog that won't listen, though. He acts before he thinks. Shane is extremely loyal to Mack and the team, but when he killed Lem things hit home with US.
When Vic finds out it is Shane that killed Lem he will understand why, but will start wondering if Shane is a dog that needs to be put down. I believe that if Shane's existence is threatened and he had to give up Vic, he would. That is when Vic puts Shane down for good. Vic wasn't able to do in his old friend, Gilroy...but he will have to make this one happen and I think he will do it himself.

I think vic is done with cop killing so I dont think that he will kill shane. He doesnt have to, there are so many other ways that he could get rid of him without actually doing it himself. With the shield you just never know.

Not only that, isn't that the second time IN THIS THREAD that someone's made that comment? I think it just reduces to "I like Vic, Acevada mean to Vic, I hate Acevada." Those "mature audiences only" warnings, sadly, aren't enforceable...
Now, where you MIGHT have a moral case is the fact that Acevada essentially arranged to have Juan killed by Antwon Mitchell. For that, "get his" might be a bit more apropos. Plus Kavanaugh (and Vic) came DAMN close to figuring it out last season, so the lid could still blow off. Keep in mind Juan's girlfriend is still around, knows what happened, and CLAIMS to have the picture...
