Jan. 10 is also our dog's first birthday. So, I'll be stumbling from one celebration to another, all in my own house!!! Glad to see the familiar names and can't wait to get into discussion of the new season.

Thanks for the welcome, jwc! It's nice to see some old, familiar faces around.
For those of you who don't know me, which wouldn't surprise me because I haven't been active in any sort of Shield-y way online in a very long time, I was one of the original, long time posters on the old, old, OLD shieldfans.com forum before it moved to the new server. Damn, that was a long time ago, like back when season two was new. Then I came back for a little while for the new forum, before falling off the face of the planet again. And now I'm here, huzzah.
I'll try to be at least somewhat active this time, but as always, I make no promises. ;;

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHHAHHHAHHAHA! Oh yes, Teri is here, thanks to the lovely peer pressure of Chem and VicChick and others. To get y'all up to date - Did go to New Orleans for a trial, the week before Katrina. A buddy of mine was stuck in the convention center for 5 brutal days. I'm still living in Bradenton (unfortunately) and the boyfriend and I STILL haven't found a house to buy. It'll happen in the next few months tho', as my lease will soon expire. I now work for a different law enforcement agency and my official title is "Crime Scene Investigator." Yep, I am really a CSI. And no, it STILL isn't like the TV show. Lots busier here, I went to two homicides in two days. Welcome to the big city!!! Starting next week I will be working 6pm-6am, so posts might be at odd times. Pursuant to a certain queen's suggestion, I also teach now. I am a lab instructor for the crime scene program at a local community college. Additionally, I am in the University of Florida's post-bacc program for Forensic Death Investigations. I'm taking Forensic Analysis of DNA this semester. OK, that's all from me for now!!

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHHAHHHAHHAHA! Oh yes, Teri is here, thanks to the lovely peer pressure of Chem and VicChick and others. Well, hell'sbells, your ears must have been burning (or whatever that saying is), I just sent CC (VicChick is now CHIKchick or CC for short) and email telling her that you inquired about joining but I didn't think you had. Then I saw 4 posts under your av and thought WTF? But when I checked your profile, they were all posted today. It's great to have you here and I know peeps are gonna want to pick your brain for all that forensic knowledge you have! And, my, aren't you busy these days! This is strange. I feel like I'm in an ep of Star Trek with the way people from TSF are being beamed up here.

#yahoo# #yahoo# #yahoo# TERI!! #yahoo# #yahoo# #yahoo# My all-time favorite TSF survivor and the girl who ate virtual ice cream with me many times when life had me down. This woman knows how to be a REAL friend and we've stayed friends ever since I left TSF.
And her forensic smarts AND that ability to teach others... well, you'll see! Pure genius.
Welcome to the dark side, True Crime sista!

Howdy folks, I never dropped by in September when I signed up here. I too am a refugee with the same name from TSF. It's good to see so many familiar faces. And tonight's episode discussion thread is shaping up to be as fun as the ones on TSF. Glad to see we're all still here talking about the show throughout it's final 21 episodes.

Hello! Another fellow TSF refugee, here. I found TSF at the beginning of S4, and didn't post during the break, so my name might not be too familiar. I didn't have many posts there, but oh how I loved to read what everyone had to say.
I'm so happy I checked out the IMDB board, and found the link here. This feels more like, "home".

I remember you, Diz - welcome home! It's good to see that the old TSF community has found a new sanctuary. Too bad our beloved "red speedo guy" from Brazil didn't show up yet, though... ;D Harm, I still owe you a beer! Anyway, good to have you on board, Diz!
