Let's round up all those preggo bitches and send them to Molokai, like they did the leppers from 1868 to 1971. Hey, can I go, too? ;D

one word: beautiful
this episode was just great ... and the way vic successfully made it seem that aceveda knew all along (that explained the visit last week) ... beautiful .... I cant stop being impressed ... oh, my god.

oh yeah, this thread is about S05, isn't it? ha ha. I agree with whoever said that was a jewel of a moment when vic squeezed Aceveda's arm when he was leaving and said "Councilman." The expression on Aceveda's face was almost as priceless as Kav's when he was left alone in the garage, pondering his stunning defeat.
there were so many priceless moments in this ep. The Cheshire cat expression on Shane's face after he asked Vic "you hittin' that?" Props to Kurt Sutter et al. for a classic episode.

Dent forced the producers/writers to deal with it so her pregnancy had to be written into the story. They could have easily hidden it, the x files managed it with gillian anderson just fine.

No, I don't like liver and onions, Anita, but I would never call you names or make fun of you if you did. Saying that all pregnant women look like bloated hippos was offensive to me.

about the pregnant women thing ... as far as men are concerned, it's basically a two party system. there's one party that thinks its sexy and there's the other party, that lies, and says it's not sexy case closed

That's how they see it. You like looking at it. They don't. Now the case is closed.

Not yet, actually, no.
So calling all pregnant women "bloated hippos" wasn't flame bait? So I could say something like: "All women with dark hair look like ugly gorillas." And that's not flame bait? Or how about "All women without children are jealous of those of us that have them." Is that flame baiting anyone? I mean, please tell me where the line is to be drawn, because I thought the TSR R&G were pretty clear already.

No, I don't like liver and onions, Anita, but I would never call you names or make fun of you if you did. Saying that all pregnant women look like bloated hippos was offensive to me. Sara Yes, Sara, you've made your offense at my remark very clear. I've said it wasn't mean to offend anyone; it was merely my own observation.
I'm ready to move on. Are you? Observations can always be offensive in spite of good intentions. "All religious people seem like idiots" is an observation, and obviously that could piss lots of people off, for example. But I don't really like getting offended by anything; I try my hardest to stay calm, be myself and not care what other people think. It's not a great practice, but neither is getting offended by everything that comes at you. Sometimes there's no answer, I suppose, and arguments are unavoidable. Anyway, I love the fact that she's pregnant. The scene was moving. I get sentimental easily, especially when there's a big human bond in place. Man, I'm thinking of season 2 when Vic broke in the house, saw matthew having an 'episode' then started rocking him back and forth. That was great.

All women that fight on the internet are sexy.
I thought it was a bold move by Catherine Dent. It's certainly a memorable moment in Shield history. One of the reasons I love this show so much because it goes where few will.

"All generalizations are false, including this one." -Mark Twain Thanks, though. I always strive to appear sexy in everything I do. OK, for anyone who knows me, that's an hilarious statement...

Someday, when your wife is 12 mos pregnant and asks you if she looks fat, you'll smile sweetly and give her a perfect head-saving line! As for our dueling Queen Bitches, I'd rather see them work it out in bikinis on a rubber sheet covered with orange jello.

No, E will not be knocked up (no more kids, thanks), and she would be writhing around in chocolate pudding, not jello. Don't you wanna play in the pudding, CC?? Maybe you're afraid I'd whoop ya too badly. #jester#
