Hello everybody,
Thanks for your help on Season 3. I have gathered some more questions, this time on Season 2, if that's all right.
How did the Strike Team track down Chorekian? Lem says that he got his number plate which lead to his address, but where did they find Chorekian's car?
I'm kind of confused how the entire Money Train plan/execution worked. Could somebody please explain the entire plan to me? I'll try by myself first.
Timeline:
2x04: One of Aleks' guys, Hrach (the Lebanese Armenian) tells Vic and Shane about a rumour about a money train. Vic and Shane get an address (9210 Escovida) from Aleks to identify which place gets raided and discover that it is the money train site. The money is coming from the entire west coast; Farmington is merely a collection point, right?
2x05: Vic and Shane inform Lem and Ronnie of the Money Train operation, Lem's not cool with it.
2x07: Strike Team checks out the entire site, takes pictures and starts planning. But I don't understand their strategy during the beginning of the episode. I can't understand what Vic and Shane say, "Now there will be no one inside that bay/bag" Then Shane says something before "We'll be waiting for him." Then Vic says, "secrecy over muscle." What does all of this mean? I also don't get what their strategy is when they're using the rocks. Vic and Shane will clear the roof, but who does Ronnie disarm? Then Vic says, "Lem hits the ground" but from where? Just for the record, Vic is saying all of this stuff. Plus, why does Vic say "we'll keep an eye on Ronnie" after Shane says that money does strange things to people? Didn't understand the dialog in those scenes.
2x10: There's a risk there won't be a money train because of Gilroy skipping bail.
2x11: Ronnie figures out a new strategy to the bottleneck problem. But what was the bottleneck problem? Was it explained in previous episodes?
Anyway, his new plan is to have 2 men on the inside of the truck, and 2 men on the outside; but are they outside where the Armenians can see them?
Plus, why does Vic back out of the drug business? Is it because people are getting laid off?
In addition, how do Lem and Ronnie seize one of those Armenian trucks? There must be someone running it right?
Also, by 2x05 (Greenlit), Armadillo's back in town, but I don't understand what the Strike Team was originally going to do about him before Lem and Shane thought of shanking him. Ronnie said something about "handing him to Aceveda" but then Vic said something along the lines of "he'll pull his gun, he'll have no choice." What does this mean?
As well as that, in 2x10 (Coyotes), why was someone going to the DA? What was he/she telling the DA? Isn't it obvious that Lainie was going to the DA?
Also, why was Claudette pissed off at Aceveda? Was it because he was caring more about the primaries rather than the employees? Also, what was the 1-day trial period for Tavon about? Was it that he was going to go back to Special Crimes after the period?
I would post more but it's taking a lot of my time, lol.
Thank you so much in advance.
