I hadn't really noticed this before, but I'm getting a friend into the show, and right now, we just finished 2x07, Barnstormers.
Late in the episode, before Vic finds Ronnie in his apartment, Shane and Lem are joking with Ronnie about watching out for delivery guys; he gets irritated, and they tell him to take a joke. Subsequently, Lem goes into this shpiel about not trusting Ronnie to sit on the money for a few years, and Shane chimes in as well, with "money does strange things to people".
Isn't it ironic that they were worried about Ronnie sitting on the money, yet it was Lem and Shane who, essentially, lost the most control over the pile of cash. In fact, it was Ronnie who was meticulous about keeping count, track of, etc.
I love how ironic that was.

Ronnie has always been the sensible "rock" of the ST. The only one with common sense and does not let his emotions make his decisions. He is also one of the most loyal people on the show. Makes ya wonder why shane and vic do not trust him enough to tell him about much.

I would think it's because he's so good, he would never agree to killing terry, not sure if he would grass them up but I don't think he would be cool with it at all.

"Grass them up" That must be a UK term. Does that mean turn them in?

They (Vic and Shane) don't even want to put themselves in a position to where they would have to deal with a situation involving a difference of opinion with Ronnie.

Maybe ronnie is left out of stuff because vic and shane feel a closer bond because they are both more forward bout getting things done.
