I think it would have been cool to see Ronnie kill Lem. It would give Ronnie more of an edge and an excuse for us to talk about him...plus it's much more of a shocker when the quiet guy goes blowing off one of his friends ;D

I agree. Although it would have given him more of a plot, it doesn't fit his character (at least not little of what we know of him). He's never even killed anyone (not directly; the MT obviously got a lot of people killed), yet alone a team member. It definitely fits Shane's character though. Plus, I would have HATED it if they went that direction (notice my member name, lol), especially since they never built up anything between Lem and Ronnie. Lem and Shane have a lot of history and that's a huge reason why it's so difficult to see it happen the way it did - Lem saved Shane's ass so many times and in the end, Shane betrays him.

Yeah, it's easier to say what we don't know about Ronnie than it is to say what we do know about him, since that isn't much. So, what do we know? He's the tech guy of the ST. He was involved with cracking open the safe in Assinvader's office. He also did the sweep for electronic surveillance both in the ST clubhouse and Farmington's property warehouse (before the botched heist that got Kern and the guard killed). Ronnie seems to be the most level-headed (even-tempered) and most transparent member of the ST. He didn't get emotional like Lem or go off on half-baked schemes like Shane. He doesn't have Vic's or Shane's temper. Calling him the most transparent is like saying he's the shallowest. This is true because we know the least about him, but also because he is the least complex member of the ST. He has a pretty good sense of humor and enjoys throwing barbs back and forth, mainly with Shane. He is a good team player, like Vic, and considers what is good for the whole rather than any of the individuals. To go along with being the tech guy of the ST, he is also the calculating type; he's always thinking about the financial aspects of the ST's wheeling and dealings. He is the most grounded and stabilizing influence on the ST--even more than Vic, since he doesn't have his own agenda like Vic (his kids) and Shane (Mara and kid) do. By the way, I Adore Ronnie, I don't know if you are aware of a short thread about David Rees Snell that is in the board about our visit to the set last April (Peach and me). the thread is at: theshieldrap.proboards45.com/index.cgi?board=visit&action=display&thread=1120010212Given your user name, I thought you might find the posts in that thread interesting--there are only about a half dozen.

Thanks for the recap on Ronnie It's always nice to review his character, hehe. Also, something that first made me absolutely adore him was in Season 1 Episode 10 Dragonchasers - the thing with the stripper: Stripper: Like, what kind of stuff you into? Ronnie: Uh, you know. Golf. I'm a four-handcap.. Stripper: Sit right here and relax. You like this, Ronnie? Ronnie: Yeah. Stripper: Yeah? Ronnie: Yeah but could ya, um, like just kind of tease me. Stripper: Tease? Ronnie: Not really take it off. Stripper: Uh-huh. Ronnie: Like almost... and then, not. Stripper: Oh, okay. Lem: What, is he for real? Shane: Alright, that's it. That's it, I'm going in. That's it. That's it. Lem: Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie...
Ronnie: What? I was doing good. Lem: I'm a four handycap? Ronnie: I was laying the groundwork! Lem: Uh-huh.LOL I friggin' LOVED that! I thought it was the cutest thing ever for his character! ;D I've been hooked since! Actually, at the risk of sounding like a dork, I ended up only joining so I could get into that section. I was lurking beforehand, but I was hoping for some pictures / personal experiences so when I joined that was the first thing I read (dork? maybe!). I was bummed for no pictures but I liked the story. Thanks for reminding me, so cute!

Exactly! He is so innocent/naive (yet adorable!) about women (well, strippers at least lol), I never understood why he was in this "bad ass" team. But as the tech geek, he did have a vital role in many of their plans, and he was always loyal to Vic. But he never was violent untill the first episode of season 5 (and even then, Shane was holding on to the dude so it was sort of cheating, hah).
Love that character. I hope he is the only one left standing in the end (although I hoped Lem would be too, sniffle).

Another scene that was about Ronnie, that he wasnt even in was in season3 when they started the garage sting and Vic told Aceveda that the equipment was on loan from the feds and Ronnie was like a kid with his first tittie magazine.

I wonder if Ronnie is still a virgin? He seems really unexperienced! He definetly was tight with his mother. Remember the persian rug cleaning he knows about! LOL

A virgin? I don't think he's THAT inexperienced, lol. Plus, he's gotten too hot over the years not to have gotten some In the beginning of Season 5 Episode 2 Enemy of Good when Vic, Ronnie and Shane don't know where Lem is: Shane: He's probably knee-deep in a booty call. Ronnie: I hope he's getting the cop discount. Shane: Yeah I hear yours charges by the minute. Ronnie: Hey, I get mine for free. Vic: Must be seein' a charity worker. I found it adorable (well, not so much the "cop discount" part - the badge gets them anything they want, eh? ) And to them for dismissing Ronnie's hotness!

mixed feelins about it really. ronnie, we all didn't know a whole hellofa lot a stuff about him, thus, not as much emotion, and closeness to the team. he is loyal and faithfull. but also he is as dirty as vic and shane, if not more. he will do whatever, and anything. he does worry about some things. but anything dirty, he never hesitated. if i'm overlooking anything, let me know

I've always wished more would have been done with him. He's been given the perfect setup for a big impact in the final two seasons.

Ronnie is my favorite character on the show. Enigmatic at times, but really funny too. Each season he has been given a little bit more screentime. I bet we see more of Gardocki this year than any of the past seasons. While we're on the subject, what is your favorite Ronnie moment? There aren't a ton to choose from, but a few come to mind. The four handicap, oriental rugs, discount clothes, "I thought they were gonna fix your face," just to name a few of the few.
