I think you should go back and watch some of the earlier episodes. Lem isn't the angel of the group. He's just as guilty as everyone else. Doesn't mean he deserved to die though. That's for sure.

The girl who relishes true crime...yet when I saw Lem's eyes flicker open, I nearly vomited. I take it this means a screen shot of Lem's bloody face will not be your new avatar?

It really is different when it's someone you "know" and like. Now Kavedinnuts or Emolia (that worthless like c-nt!!) I would enjoy seeing shredded up.... That would be my WALL PAPER!

I thought it was a great ending. Very saddening. When it happened, I actually cried out/screamed a "NO!! GOD NO!" haha. I LOVE Shane and Lem. Well...loved, I can't wait to see the brutal death that comes to Shane. It was a very heartwrenching end. GREAT acting by Shane, Lem and Vic.
I can't wait to see how Vic handles Shane. I think in his eyes, if he can kill Lem, he could kill any of them to save his ass.
As for the "baby daddy" part. I still think it's Lem's. They made it seem to be Vic's. BUT, this show never straight out tells you, it flips. So I'm going with Curtis as the daddy.

I have told many people that over the last several episodes. It's definitely Lem... that will hurt even more later... especially since Shane talked about babies and family before he took him out. --- AWFUL! Be that's why this show is so good....

candyman: You hated season 3 but liked season 4 better? How's that work? Two words: Glenn Close She really helped to put the show back on track. Her acting was amazing. As for Season 3: We have a lot of Shield watching parties at our home. Pretty much everybody I know was a bit disappointed with Season 3. This opinion was shared with a local radio station that interviews the cast on a weekly basis. The guys at the radio station are nuts about the Shield as well and even they said that Season 3 was not as good as 1 & 2 were, as did many fans who called into the show. Season 4 was right back to greatness though. With a show as awesome as the Shield, expectations are going to be very high.

So out of sheer curiosity...with 10 minutes left in the season finale, why would your wife get up and walk out of the room? You're asking me to explain why women do the things they do? C'mon man, you know that's the great mystery of the universe. ::runs and hides from the wrath of E:: Seriously though, she just got up to throw something away. Why she chose that moment to do it though, is beyond me.

How I believe the show will end.
1. I do also believe that Lem was the father. 2. Once they are close to discovering that it was Shane that killed Lem. To save his skin Shane will try to make deal with the courts to give up and turn on the Strike Team in order to save himself. Perhaps Witness Protection. 3.The Strike Team will self destruct even more. (It already has). When Vic finds out through Dutch's investigations that it was Shane that killed Lem. 4. Vic will confess to the murders of Terry to save himself and to take down Shane. 5. Ronnie will be killed by Shane. 6. Vic will take down Shane with the help of Kavannaugh. 7. Kavannuagh will take down whats left on the Strike Team and Aceveda. 8. Vic will go to jail.

I don't think Shane will kill Ronnie. I do think Vic will go to jail at the end. That's the only way to end the show.

Well, I watched as I always do, by myself. The wife doesn't watch the show and the kids are way to young. Lem was my favorite "regular" Strike Team member. Shane has been kinda pissing me off for almost 2 seasons now. I've been a loyal viewer, never missed an episode, since the pilot. I've got the dvd's and it's easily my favorite show on t.v. as well as it being the only one I make a point to watch. As stupid as it may sound, I've grown to know theses guys and feel close to them. I feel like I have lost a friend. Only the good die young? Well, based on this you would think so. Why not Shane, instead of Lem. I guess Shawn Ryan wanted a big reaction out of us, and I would have to say he got it. I'm still in disbelief today. Kavanaugh, Acevada, Vic and Shane all have to die now. The only one that can get through all this is Ronnie. Kav, because he started this whole investigation, Assinvader, because he made Shane think Lem was selling them out. Vic, because he is a murderer and Shane, for the same reason. Only Shane is even worse, since Vic took out Terry, who was only a part of the team for a very short time. I'm just sick about the whole thing.

I did not know that Kavannaugh -spoiler removed by E-. Then I take that one and Number #5 back. But wasnt he given full power back to investigate the Strike Team? I do see Aceveda getting punished somehow too. Mabe jail time But if Kavannugh is truly finished. The only person who could take down the Strike Team is Vic himself and your right seeing Vic going to jail is the only way to end it.

You all are getting yourselves entirely too worked up over next half season already. I am still pushing the rewind and play buttons on the Lem/Shane death scene. Mother says I am morbid. HAHAHA It isn't so. Part of me does not want to accept the reality of Lem's death. Maybe that is why everybody just stood there at the scene dumbfounded and numb on The Shield. Only Tina the rookie was crying. She isn't used to this shit. She hasn't seen too many mangeled bodies or known of The Barn's nasty cover-ups.

because Shane killed Lem to cover himself, I have no doubt in my mind that he would have killed Vic if Vic wasnt wise to it in Season 4. No doubt. It makes me sick.

I think that nasty Mara was in on the plan to off Lem if Lem gave them any problems about going to Mexico. I cannot stand that woman. I've disliked Shane ever since he first got involved with her. He was so much fun before he met her.
If Shane is killed, I do not think tha Vic will be the one to kill him. I think that Vic will set Shane up to be killed.
I would be shocked if Shane doesn't turn on Vic & Ronnie. I can totally see him going into the witness protection program. Shane has always tried so hard to be like Vic, but has proven over and over that he doesn't have the smarts that Vic has. Shane ALWAYS screws things up.
Vic isn't an idiot. He knows that he cannot trust Shane completely. So, if Vic does end up going down, he certainly will not go down without taking Shane right along with him. The smartest one in the entire bunch is Ronnie. I can see Ronnie going scott-free.

agreed, Mara is a total C#$t. I would like to see some tragic scenario where shane gets him, Mara and his two bastard kids whacked as well...heh.
Shane already mentioned to Lem before he killed him that he had another kid coming so he was going to have to step things up on the street, which you can be sure will mean more Shane F$%k ups....so I would think he'll put himself in a bad jam again about the time Vic finds out it was shane and let him Die under whatever eroneous situation he gets himself mixed up in.
and I can definately see him turning on Ronnie and Vic in the end. Shane has to meet some dispicible demise now.
Kav and Ascivada need to die too...

I have cared about these characters for five years now. I know they aren't real, genius. Neither was Bambi or Charlotte the spider or Elsa the lion... but they touched me. Certain movies still move me to tears....because I let them! THAT is the magic of Hollywood. Is this the only point you can make? Frankly, I couldn't care less if you approve or not. And don't you dare tell E about the Easter Bunny.

OMG ~ My daughter and I are totally, completely heartbroken. Lem was her favorite and really mine too this season and I think what happened to him was horrible and Shane Vendrell should DIE for it. She had her hands over her mouth for 20 minutes and I had to literally pull them down! I thought the grenade was in the bag of food, and Steph said Shane threw it in. All I know is we sat there in shock for 20 minutes!! When I finally pulled Steph's hands down she just had tears running down her face. So did I. I just can't believe Shawn Ryan let one of the most popular guys on that show get killed or let Kenny Johnson leave. HOW COULD HE?? Is he insane? I kept thinking Lem's eyes were going to open the whole time and when they didn't I was just floored. Then when they showed everyone there and he still hadn't moved I knew it was for real and I just went, "What the F**K??!!" so loud my mom came running in from the other room going, "What? What's wrong?". Then when she found out it was because of a TV show she thought we were ridiculous. She just doesn't get it....

I think the following will happen:
Shane will get caught somehow for killing Lem, and then he will turn against everyone and rat for the witness protection that Lem didn't take. Meanwhile, when things exacerbate, Vic will take Kavenaugh down with him. The only one who will walk away will be Ronnie.
