Can we do a poll on Danny's father? Each week we are really seeing bits and pieces of who she might be leaning to or quotes like "He doesn't know" that really gets me wondering who it is...I'm really stoked to find out, the writers BETTER include it... --Dan When Chem posts Glen's most recent answers to our questions, you'll see they don't intend to tell us any of the details like date, time, weight. Apparently, they don't care about that stuff so no baby pool for our members. I was really surprised and disappointed to hear that...don't they get it that the fans want to play along?? This would have been fun for us.
Well, harkening back to something I said pre-season, they may also be reluctant to presume there *will* be a baby... Kurt Sutter's wife, Katey Segal, had her pregnancy written into "Married with Children." Tragically, she lost that baby at 8 months. I am sure the TS heads discussed the Danny storyline at length with Catherine Dent before putting in the pregnancy bit... but it's not like they could hide it either...like have her stand behind a patrol car all season!
Her remark that "the father doesn't know" makes me 1) sure it isn't Vic and 2) fairly certain the father is not in her life right now, so I am not sure we will ever know. A couple of things: 1. CC, I'm sure they already had written the episode when Danny delivers by the time your wish for vital stats was revealed, so there isn't much they can do about it now. 2. Careful with assuming that Vic isn't the father just because Danny said the father doesn't know. That doesn't rule him out, right? In addition to meaning that she hasn't told the father, it could also mean that Vic is the father and Danny simply hasn't told him. In fact I can see just that kind of chic(k)anery on the part of the writers (pun intended, and a pretty good one, if I do say so myself, ha ha!). Now if the baby's first smile turns out to be a sneer instead ... ;D. (then I think the saying in my sig below fits ). Which reminds me of the fable (which might be true for all I know) that a newborn baby always resembles the father more than the mother. This, as I heard it, is for preservation of the species; in other words, it wouldn't do too much for domestic tranquility if the baby, for instance, looked like the father's best friend. #roflao#

How does the timeline fit with Vic & Danny's hookup while staking out Captain Rawling's house in Season 4?
I'm fine with not knowing, really. Just like so many heated discussions I've had with people about the 'NEED' for the people who make Lost to explain the "numbers" in more detail. I appreciate the mystery.
Refusal to name her Baby Daddy will make The Shield stick in our minds longer than if they do say who knocked her up. It's like Tarantino's tight-lippedness about the contents of the infamous glowing briefcase. Do it right and it becomes iconic. Tell too much and it's business as usual.

Who else "couldn't handle it right now..." ?? It has to be Vic or some guy we've never met. I think his question, "Should we talk?" was really "Am I the Daddy?" (he can be my daddy any day of the week). He wants to ask her that without asking her that, ya know??

I laughed my ass off at the happy turkey baster. I keep picturing her and Vics encounter in the car, but I also thought she was pretty hot for that little black dude that she went on a date with last season. Taylor I think, I couldn't remember his name.

I voted Lem... but leaned hard toward it being Vic's considering it would add some great new storylines! But Vic's always been kind to single mothers- so him not being the father would enlighten this aspect of his character.
Why Lem.. well, he's a fugitive- what better reason for him to risk it all and return- to see his child. When did they have a chance to hookup? Hell if I know. LOL

Well I would say Vic but like the most of you said that would be too obvious. So I'm voting for Taylor, then Lem.....you never know....
